ANIMAL lovers are being urged to 'hopalong' to a Timperley vets and give a three-legged cat a home.
The male moggie - dubbed Straymond - was found limping with a broken leg by an animal lover.
He was taken to Timperley Veterinary Centre, on Wood Lane, where his leg had to be amputated - with the RSPCA and Cats Protection League contributing to the treatment.
The five-year-old has made a good recovery, after veterinary nurse Katie Newport took him home to nurse him, and now needs a good home.
Receptionist Kathy Macfarlane said: "He is a lovely cat, so affectionate."
Anyone who can give him a home should call Katie or Kathy at the vets on 0161 980 3663.
