Hale Barns Village is all set for its big Christmas spectacular this Sunday with festivities starting at 12 noon.

The grounds at Holy Angels Church will be transformed into a fantastic winter carnival with arts and craft stalls, artisan food and drink such as Yorkshire pudding wraps and wood fired pizza, rides and entertainment from Seldons Funfair.

There will be live music from local acts, dance displays, a special visit from Santa Claus and a free firework display.

The main event of the evening is a Big Christmas Concert staged inside Holy Angels Church headlined by ‘Stop the Cavalry’ hitmaker, Jona Lewie who will be performing all his hits including ‘Always in the Kitchen at Parties’ and the Terry Dactyl hit; ‘Seaside Shuffle.

A selection of well-known local artists including teen soprano; Scarlett Quigley, Wayne Devlin, Di Voci Ladies Choir, Lauren Lovelle, Kaleidoscope Big Band, Festival Orchestra Players will also perform with a couple of surprises.

Event organiser, Max Eden said ahead of the event: "We cannot wait to show the village what we have planned this Sunday, there is fantastic performers, mouthwatering food, a spectacular firework display, great kids entertainment and rides and a superb Robinsons bar stocked with festive favourites for the grown-ups, and then we have a multi-million selling artist performing in the evening; Hale Barns is well and truly on the map."

The free outdoor events run from 12 noon until 7pm in the car parks and grounds of Holy Angels Church with the big evening concert staged in the church at 7pm.
