A TEENAGE boy has been arrested after a shopkeeper was stabbed during an armed robbery in Timperley yesterday.
Police were called to reports of a robbery at a Nisa shop, in Heyes Lane, at 5.30pm on Thursday December 29.
A 15-year-old has been arrested at the scene and is in custody.
A police spokesperson said: "At about 5.30pm on Thursday December 29 police were called to a shop on Heyes Lane in Timperley to a report of an armed robbery.
"Police attended and discovered a male had gone into the shop and threatened a member of staff, before stabbing him in the torso. The victim, a 30-year-old man, suffered a minor injury.
"A 15-year-old boy was arrested at the scene on suspicion of robbery and has been bailed until January 29 2017."
