KATE Green, MP for Stretford and Urmston, is hosting a coffee morning for women from the constituency on Friday, November 25.
The event is a chance for women to come and have a chat with their MP about the issues affecting them both nationally and locally.
It will take place in Stretford Public Hall, Chester Road, Stretford, M32 0LG, between 10am and 11.30am. All women are welcome.
The coffee morning is designed to be a safe space where women can freely share ideas or discuss concerns which are important to them.
Ms Green said: “A lot has happened in 2016 and I know many women round here may be worried about the future and feel they don’t have a voice in influencing what’s going on.
“That’s why I’m hosting a women’s coffee morning so that I can listen specifically to what women would like to see change in our community.
“All women are welcome so do come and join me for a cuppa and a chat. You’re welcome to bring along babies and children too – just get in touch with my office on 0161 749 9120 for more information.
“Next month I’ll be hosting my annual Christmas coffee morning on December 16 where the whole community (including men) will be welcome. Watch this space for details."
