TYRANNOSAURUS Rex 'terrorised' and took over an assembly during a special Dinosaur Day at St Hilda's Primary School last week.
The children at the Firswood-based school walked among dinosaurs, as well as turned into archaeologists for a special workshop.
The fact-finding day last week was part of a literacy initiative all the pupils embarked upon to inspire them to write.
Miss McCoy, assistant head at St Hilda's Primary, added: "Bringing the past back to life was an amazing experience that we will never forget and is part of our ongoing commitment to enrich the curriculum at St Hilda's."
