FLIXTON dancer Eleanor Norton-Bailey had her sights set on success at the Dance World Cup.

The 13-year-old Urmston Grammar School student came home with four medals – two gold, one silver and one bronze – from the international dance competition in Jersey last month.

Eleanor danced in a number of routines with her fellow Vale School of Dance teammates, winning gold in the Children Trip Contemporary Dance and the Children Quartet Modern Dance categories; silver in Junior/Senior Group Acro Dance; and bronze in Children Trio Hip Hop & Street Dance.

Mum Andrea Bailey said: “Eleanor has had a fantastic year with the Vale School of Dance and all of the winning dances were choreographed by her amazing teacher, Emily Charlton. I can’t wait to see what the next year has in store for her.”

In total, 33 countries participated and England came home with overall Country Award for 2016 for the third year running.
