Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was hit by a car in West Timperley.
At around 6.10pm on Monday 20 June 2016, police were called to Manchester Road A56, near the junction of Park Road and Woodcote Road, to reports that a woman had been involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Astra.
Officers attended and found a 25-year-old woman with serious head injuries.
She was taken to hospital where her condition is described as life threatening.
Police Constable Paul Hailwood of the GMP Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “First of all, our thoughts are with the woman and her family, we have specially trained officers supporting them.
“We are still establishing exactly what happened with this collision and we are keen to speak any witnesses to the collision or any persons who may have footage from dash-cams.”
