POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a collision in Stretford left a man in a critical condition.
Shortly before 6pm yesterday, a Kawasaki motorbike was travelling on Fountains Road when it collided with a Vauxhall Astra, that had been travelling in the opposite direction but had stopped when it saw the motorbike approaching. The motorbike then collided with a parked Honda Civic, causing minor damage.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital where he is being treated for multiple injuries and is currently in a life-threatening condition.
Police Sergeant Paul Higgins said: “This collision has left a man fighting for his life in hospital.
“We want to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision. If you were at the scene at the time of the incident, please call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit as soon as possible.”
