PUPILS from Altrincham CE Primary School had fun celebrating World Book Day.
Not only did they dress up as their favourite book characters but they were also joined for the day by internationally published poet, Matt Goodfellow.
Matt performed a selection of his poems for the children and delivered high-energy poetry writing workshops throughout the day, on March 3.
Teacher Susie Hornby said: "The children were excited to be able to get their hands on a signed copy of Matt’s new poetry book ‘Carry Me Away’.
"It was a fantastic day and everyone walked away energised, engaged and eager to get started on writing their own poetry."
