ALTRINCHAM'S Loose Change Buskers raised more than £1,600 for Cancer Research UK last week.
They performed at All Saints Church Hall for The Women's Institute on February 25, Eden Square, Urmston, on February 27, and West Didsbury Artisan Market on February 28.
They collected a total of £1619.80p, this includes a £70 donation from a Lee Bayliss gig which he kindly donated. The group, which is in its sixth year, has now raised more than £241,000.
The group will perform at Cheadle Artisan Market in Cheadle Village, on March 5, from 11am; and Knutsford Artisan Market on March 6, again from 11am.
