AN astronomical open day is to be held in Altrincham, in March.
The event will take place between 10am and 5pm, on March 1, at the Timperley Community Centre, 121 Park Road.
It is organised by the Altrincham and District Astronomical Society, in conjuction with National Astronomy Week which will run between March 1 and 8.
The open day will include a number of talks on astronomical subjects as well as sessions on how to use a telescope.
The event is supported by a grant from Trafford Housing Trust.
