FIREFIGHTERS from Stretford Fire Station paid a visit to an Urmston primary school to help express the importance of fire safety.
Clsass Three at Highfield Primary School, on Bridgeforth Avenue, are currently learning about the Great Fire of London so the visit from the fire service was especially apt.
Class teacher, Danielle Lewis, described the visit as a ‘fantastic learning experience’.
She added: “The crew did a presentation about keeping safe in the winter and then the children were very excited to have the opportunity to look at the fire engine and even go in it.”
