AN Altrincham scrap metal processing firm came away from last week’s Cheshire Show with a top prize.
J Davidson was awarded first place for the best non-agricultural stand over 10m, beating the Cheshire Fire Service into second place at the scrap merchant’s first outing at the annual show.
J Davidson and its marketing agency, K2L, created a carnival themed stand, showcasing the importance of recycling metal and providing an interactive and educational insight into everything metal.
Jamie Davidson, managing director, said:” We had a great time at the Cheshire Show and we were delighted to be awarded a prize on our first time there. Our stand was extremely busy throughout the two days.”
The Judges commented: “Scrap metal is a difficult product to exhibit but the inviting nature of the stall with the carnival games, educational elements and stand-out James Bond truck made it an easy choice for first place”.
