THE Chronicles of Narnia, C S Lewis’s tales of witches, magical lands and battles, will be the focus of a Make Sale Smile event at Coppice Avenue Library on Saturday, September 26.
Carol Ferro, known as the short story lady, will run an all age Narnia party.
She will read from the famous Chronicle but there will be lots else to do, such as watching the stories on DVD.
There’ll also be dressing up, craft activities and the chance to draw imaginary lands in the wood between worlds.
The person who wins a Narnia quiz will receive a bottle of Lucy’s magical cordial (known to non-believers in magic as Damson syrup).
*The Narnia party, which is free, is at Coppice Avenue Library, Sale, from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday, September 26.
