THE outdoor theatre is back in Longford Park, Stretford.

It is putting on a production of 'Mr Stink', on Sunday August 16 at 5pm.

The audience will see the colourful characters from the celebrated David Walliams book come to life in the adaptation of Mr Stink for the open air.

It tells the story of how twelve-year-old Chloe and a very smelly, homeless man - Mr Stink - forge an extraordinary and rewarding friendship that takes them to the heady heights of live television and Downing Street via a garden shed.

An outdoor show packed with fun, humour and a heart-warming message, this brand new adaptation of Mr Stink with some audience participation is suitable for the whole family to enjoy.

All tickets are £10 (under 5s are free). Tickets are available from the Longford Park café, NewsLink at Stretford Metro Station, and at Chorlton Bookshop.

:This production will go ahead in all but the worst weather conditions - generally thunderstorms - so audience members should bring appropriate clothing.

Chairs are not provided and places cannot be reserved in advance and dogs are not permitted in the audience area (guide dogs excepted).

If not sold out tickets may be available on the door on a first come first served basis – but organisers won't know that until the day of the production.

Those attending are encouraged to walk or use public transport to get to Longford Park (Stretford Metro is the closest). for those who drive, there is a car park at the Ryebank Road entrance, next to the athletics stadium. The car park at the Cromwell Road entrance will be closed.
