THE lead singer of top veteran folk band the Houghton Weavers, Tony Berry, will be entertaining members of a dementia support group in Timperley.
Tony will be singing at the Larkhill Dementia Cafe, Thorley Lane, Timperley, at one of their meetings in July.
The cafe is a support group, open and run by volunteers for six years, which is open twice per month on Saturdays 10am-12, £2 per person.
It provides support, activities, entertainers, advice and group counselling for carers and those they care for.
There are regular singalongs - including the upcoming one with Tony Berry.
Anyone, suffering with dementia, from any area, is welcome to join - phone Dawn on 07708430887 for dates.
Larkhill Dementia Cafe is supported by 'Later Life Living Day Club'.
