A MAJOR transfer from Liverpool should keep a hotel in the shadow of Old Trafford in a league of its own.
Chris Hull joins Hotel Football as general manager, having previously held a similar post at the 225-room Mercure Atlantic Tower on Merseyside.
The Old Trafford hotel is owned by Class of 92 graduates Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Philip Neville and Nicky Butt, with businessman Peter Lim.
Mr Hull said: "I'm passionate about football and I've lived in Manchester for the last 20 years so to be given the opportunity and challenge to grow Hotel Football, reputationally and financially, as well as further improve the guest experience is an honour."
Winston Zahra, chief executive of GG Hospitality, which runs the hotel, said: "Chris brings with him a wealth of experience of managing hotels around the UK and he is passionate about hospitality and football."
The hotel is now placed within the Tribute Portfoilio range for Marriott International.
