COMPUTER Support Services, based in Broadheath, has offered schools an opportunity to take advantage of a free workshop for pupils with their software development team.
The workshop offers children an insight into how programs are coded.
Depending on the age group, pupils are then given an opportunity to use the companies 'Stratus Logistics' program which allows energy companies to track personnel and cargo moving to offshore installations throughout the world.
The workshop aim is to demonstrate how developers write code and work in conjunction with other team members to deliver a program to the customer.
The workshop is available to any school or college who are already a Computer Support customer. Any school can apply by contacting info@computersupport.uk.com or calling 0161 850 5080.
