A TIMPERLEY company that provides iPads to entertain at charity events has scored a hat-trick of prestigious clients from the world of sport.

Bidtech Solutions has lent or will lend the Apple tablets to functions hosted by the Steven Gerrard Foundation, the Seve Ballesteros Foundation and former rugby player Lawrence Dallaglio’s foundation.

Bidtech will supply the events with iPads that come pre-programmed with a bespoke fundraising app.

The iPads allow guests to take part in a variety of fundraising activities, including bidding in silent auctions, buying electronic raffle tickets, playing electronic scratch cards, entering quizzes or simply pledging donations.

The partnership with the Dallaglio Foundation saw Bidtech, based at Park Road Estate, provide nearly 200 iPads for its charity gala at Evolution, in Battersea, last month.

Bidtech will supply more than 100 iPads to late golfer Ballesteros’s foundation dinner at the Natural History Museum, in London, on December 14.

In its partnership with footballer Gerrard, Bidtech will provide iPads for more than 400 guests at its charity gala at the Crowne Plaza, in Liverpool, on December 15.

James Lawrence, managing director, said: “We’re thrilled to be working for the charities of three such exceptional sporting legends. Our fundraising technology has already helped us smash the targets of many of our existing clients and this bold step into the world of sport shows there’s a real commitment to innovation and technology within this market.”
