3. Davyhulme Youth Centre update • Still waiting for reply 4. British Youth Council Convention August 11th • Four places available 5. Campaign areas questionnaire • Mark to meet designer soon 6. Trafford Young Carers group • Put on hold until September when new contract is begun.
7. LGBT group • Would like to practice a presentation they have developed for schools.
• Cabinet agreed to do a workshop then give feedback afterwards 8. Myplace Fuse • Mark explained there are sub-groups which will help run the fuse. Members signed up to those they were interested in Feedback 9. Trafford Hospital Trust meeting Monday • No one went due to holidays and sickness 10. Home to school transport policy consultation • Has been fed back to the council Officer responsible 11. Evaluating new services • Members helped to decide which organisations will run services for for young carers and siblings of children with Complex and additional needs and promoting positive behaviours 12. School nurses research • Has been written up and fed back to Dan at NWRYU who is using it as the basis of a piece of work with school nurses.
13. Primary School visits • Mark has started visiting primary school councils. When he has done a few he will do a presentation for cabinet.
For discussion 14. Bullying policy • Members split into groups and worked on a definition of bullying, indicators that someone is being bullied, types of bullying and how to stop bullying • This was compared to the new CYPS policy on bullying • They matched pretty well with a few changes suggested.
