• Mark is going into primary schools to discuss with their school councils about possibly forming a junior youth cabinet. If any members who are now off school could attend it would be good. Others can ask if school will let them out.

12. Trafford Young Carers group • No response from them. Mark to chase up 13. Alcohol consultation feedback update • Mark fed back comments from members about the alcohol workshop Feedback 14. Trafford General June 25th feedback • Shereen and Matthew helped open the new children’s ward. Mark to put photos on facebook.

15. Greater Manchester transport plan • Members comments are in the final AGMA Local Transport Plan 16. Myplace Fuse • Reiner, Chris T and Mark went to Fuse board last night.

• They aim to get the building handed over August 5th. Start running services August 15th.

• They will have a three minibuses 16/17 seats so we could all go and have a meeting there.

• They will arrange a visit for the cabinet over the summer.

• At the meeting there was a radio trainer who will train young people up to run their own shows. We could do a podcast?

• They also have sub-committees that will run on different days of the week. They would like members to join. The sub-groups are: projects and events; operations team; outdoor activities; finance.

School nurses research • Did some group work about school nurses • Asked what qualities a school nurse should have: e.g. kind, confidential, experienced, happy, sensible and always there • Where should they be based: e.g. have their own room, in the middle of school, near sports facilities or at Talkshop.

Youth Service review meeting discussion • Naadhirah to attend youth service stakeholders meeting next week • Members decided what they wanted from the youth service in the future: e.g. organise groups about different types of health, come in schools, youth clubs and clean-ups 19.
