On the 15th March 2011 I, Marika and Elmyra went to the last Gmpte youth forum. They are a panel of young people who live or study within Greater Manchester who give a voice to young people about issues concerning transport in general.
We discussed the new IGO pass card and how it will benefit us. We also started writing a letter to the senior team to let them know of the positive successful work that the young people have done. We wrote about how the Gmpte would lose a valuable resource. We also learned that James the chair lost his job and that bus/tram fares will increase?
It was a very good meeting but quite sadly the last one, we enjoyed it very much ….. Shereen
