REVIVE Salon has become the latest business on the Counter Action Roll of Honour this week.

The hairdressers on Grove Lane, Hale, has a wide range of hair and beauty treatments including facials, makeup for special occasions, eyebrow threading and pedicures, as well as many different types of waxing.

They use a mix of traditional and modern methods to provide a varied range of possibilities for their clients to choose from, ranging from Hopi ear candles to bio sculpture nails.

A satisfied customer said: "They are so enthusiastic and friendly to all their clients, but more importantly to disabled and elderly clients.

"Whatever their need, the level of high quality service is provided with empathy and professionalism."

The salon is open from 9:30am-5:00pm on Mondays and Saturdays, 9:30am-6:00pm on Tuesdays, 10:00am-8:00pm from Wednesdays to Fridays and by appointment only on Sunday.

Naghmana Choudhri who runs the salon, admits: "We do struggle a bit," as the salon isn't situated on the high street, so she's dependent on customers finding out about it by word of mouth.

The salon opened three years ago this October and was started up by Naghmana herself, who has since been joined by six other members of staff.

Originally it was just a beauty salon but was recently extended to accommodate a new area for hair treatments as well.

Naghmana was very proud to have been nominated. She said, "I don't know how to put it into words." She added: "I'm very excited and grateful to the clients who nominated me."
