TRAFFORD Council has commended six Trafford care homes with a Dignity in Care award.
Bickham House in Bowdon, The Conifers in Old Trafford, Handsworth Methodist Home in Bowdon, Kilpeacon House in Altrincham, The Knoll in Urmston and Shawe House in Flixton, all received the award, which recognises the highest quality in dignity, from Executive councillor Michael Young last week.
The awards recognise care providers willing to go the extra mile to make sure their residents, some of the most vulnerable people in Trafford, are treated in a dignified, respectful way.
Cllr Young said congratulated the winners and said: “Their commitment to providing support in a dignified, caring way is clear for everyone to see."
