BITS and Pieces Equestrian on Washway Road, Sale offers friendly and efficient service says one impressed customer.
Owner Helen Cartlidge opened the shop in April 2004 to accompany her trekking centre, which is based at Wythenshawe Park riding stables.
A reader thinks that Shaun Green, who is responsible for the shop's friendly and efficient service, is well worth a place on our Counter Action 'roll of honour'.
The shop also won retailer of the month in Your Horse Magazine in January, which was also voted for by customers.
Shaun says: "We believe in strong customer service here, we want customers to know we are there if they need help, but we don't believe in stalking customers round the shop."
He added: "I believe the key to good customer service is about treating people right, going that bit further for them and giving them what they want.
Both the shop and the trekking centre are extremely good value."
And a reader who nominated the shop said: "The shop offers friendly and efficient service, they are knowledgeable of goods, and have a wide variety of goods. They even order things for you if they are not in the shop."
