TREADGOLD butchers of Thorley Lane in Timperley, offer very friendly service and take the time to care for their customers, says one satisfied customer.
The family butchers in Timperley Village, has been serving its customers for more than twelve years and employs five staff.
And a reader thinks that the service they give is more than enough to put them on our Counter Action 'roll of honour'.
Owner Nigel Treadgold has continued the family business, which dates back to the 1920s when his grandfather owned a shop on George Street in Altrincham, and his father who also owned a shop on the Broomwood estate in Timperley.
Nigel said: "A lot of customers have followed us to the shop in Timperley and regularly visit, some have been with us for more than 34 years."
He added: "We are overjoyed with the nomination and it's nice that our customers can appreciate us as much as we appreciate them"
Reader D.K Bailey who nominated the butchers, said: "They give good advice about the right size of meat to buy. You are able to buy enough for one meal if you live alone which is very handy, as some shops will only sell meat by the weight."
