Unfortunately, the younger team was unable to overcome the experience of their opposition and lost by seven goals to three.
The damage was done in the first half when goals from Mary McGovern, Moira Maher and two from captain Kate Field, meant that the seniors took a 4-0 lead at half time.
The second half was much closer, and the U19s created a number of good opportunities.
Gemma Booth and Becky Dibben both produced strong performances and a goal for the latter player.
Estelle Milne scored a brace, whilst goals from senior players Kate Field, Janis Dugdale and Jennie Dixon left the final score at 7-3.
