RAMBLERS have put up a poignant tribute to two of their number who have died - signs to help walkers find their way on the pennine trail.
Altrincham and District Rambling Club members have paid for the signs in memory of past president Harold Wilcock, who died last year and Eddie Foden, who passed away in 1997.
One of the signs, at School Lane, Dunham, directs walkers and cyclists to Lymm, while the other, at Sinderland Crossing, tells people the way to Lymm and the Bridgewater Canal.
Group committee member, Robert Fysh, said: "They were both members for about 20 years and have led walks and arranged socials."
