RE: Altrincham Station - I agree with Peter Crawford about the litter in and around the station, it is a disgrace.
But I wonder if he is aware of the fact that the toilets have been closed.
I know of no other station which does not provide this basic faciity.
To suggest that people should go all the way to Regent Road, which must be at least ten minutes walk away is an insult.
I hope that the proposed refurbishment will include toilets and that all the 'Powers that be' - the buses, Metrolink, railways and Railtrack will pull together on this.
Altrincham deserves better.
