A HARDY team from Sale Sharks are ready to climb any mountain as part of a fund raising effort for a children's charity.
The gang of four will head out to the Canadian Rocky Mountains, for a six day 330 mile cycle ride.
Community development manager Wayne Morris, rugby development officer Will Pilkington, Sale Jets manager James Wade and the Jets' scrum half John Newton head out for their marathon effort on May 26.
The team is hoping to raise £5,000 for the Childrens Hospitals Appeals Trust, which helps buy ambulances and specialist equipment used in the Greater Mancheester area.
The trust is the chosen charity of Sharks' owner Brian Kennedy.
Anyone interested in backing the Rocky Mountain trek or any of the other sponsored event the Sharks are organising should call Wayne Morris at the club on 283 1861.
