A plan by mobile phone giant Orange to put two satellite dishes onto its phone mast at Wellacre High School in Flixton has been deferred at a meeting of Trafford's planning development control committee.
The plan for the rooftop of the Irlam Road school was due to be discussed by the committee last week and has met with stiff opposition from locals.
It was deferred at the request of school governors and will now be heard at the next committee meeting at Trafford Town Hall on January 31.
