THE glory years of one of the world's greatest rock bands will be relived at Northwich Memorial Hall on May 3.

Q86 is a tribute band that takes the Queen line-up at the peak of its powers in the mid 1980s.

Comprising of Tim, Paul, Tony, Matt and lead singer Trev, the group has been around since 1985 and in that time has enjoyed success across Europe.

They will be performing at the memorial hall on Saturday, May 3, under the banner One Night at the Morgue.

Tickets, priced £5, are available from P&K News in Brunner Court or the DAN office on 01606 41597.

Such is the strength of their fan base on the continent that some Dutch fans are planning to visit Northwich especially for the gig, which has the support of the official Queen fan club.

On the night, Q86 will be supported by Triad - a Liverpool-based acoustic trio who write and perform their own material.

They will be performing two acoustic sets in the Hayhurst Room prior to the main gig.
