WHAT a difference a week makes!

I've rested the weary limbs, recharged the batteries and I'm pleased to say I've put the horrors of last Tuesday behind me!

Boot Camp has become fun again! Don't get me wrong, it's still a tough work-out, but without the rain and the sandbags it was bordering on enjoyable again!

Although that's not to say the dreaded sandbags may make an unwelcome return at a later date as Stu explains:

"The exercise plan itself has many, many different types of exercise to suit all levels and all can be adapted to beginner or advanced levels.

"The programme includes power walks, hill runs, body weight exercise, equipment-based exercise such as sandbags and boxing, partner exercises and games.

Some classic military style exercises include standard press ups, squats and abdominal leg raises.

I try to keep each of the sessions different from the last so no two are ever the same - I do this for two reasons - 1. Our Boot Campers will never get bored and never know what's coming and 2. The body cannot adapt to any session or exercise so burns more calories to continually adapt to each session.

The programme is tough, it's meant to be... if it wasn't it wouldn't be called Boot Camp.

"I want to see results in my Boot Campers - unlike a gym which targets sales rather than results and retention."

So there you have it... roll on tomorrow night!
