VISPA Internet has been nominated for three awards at this year’s coveted ISP award ceremony to be held in London in March.

The lead category which is equitable to Best Actor at The Oscars is Best Consumer ISP, which VISPA has a good chance of winning due to its impeccable customer service standards and record. It has also been nominated in the prestigious categories of Best Consumer Email and Best Dialup.

It is up against the likes of BT, Orange and Virgin Media, which in itself is an accolade for this small, Cheshire based company. The local and friendly ISP VISPA.com has had a monumental rise to critical acclaim, since its formation by managing director James Ormerod in 1999. It has won several prestigious awards and been nominated for countless others.

James is passionate about his brand and is based in the Cheshire based nerve centre. “VISPA is all about customer care. We are on first name terms with many of our clients, and pride ourselves on exacting standards of customer services and post installation care. We consider our customers as individuals and not just numbers in our database. This means that you won’t speak to a call centre in Bombay; however, you will be able to catch one of our dedicated teams in our base in Cheshire.”

Being almost 10 years old, VISPA has charted the rapid expansion of the internet across the planet, and keeps abreast of new developments as they occur. As of January 2008 it has in excess of over a quarter of a million end users to its credit and provides a range of services, including superfast 8mb broadband currently, with trials occurring up to 24mb at the moment in Birmingham.
