Is Rotary for You?

What Rotarians get out of Rotary depends largely on what they put into it.

Meetings are held weekly with a varied programme. A hallmark of Rotary clubs is their programme of outside speakers who talk on a diversity of subjects, often leading to vigorous debate.

Attendance allows members to enjoy their clubs’ fellowship and participate in club activities.

The club is the cornerstone of Rotary where the most meaningful work is carried out. Whilst fellowship is the key reason most of our members attend meetings, the meetings are also the place where community service and other projects are planned that allow members to use and develop their skills.

Members are encouraged to participate in all aspects of the clubs’ activities and many members develop life long friendships through working alongside other members.

Rotarians, men and women alike, volunteer their efforts to improve the quality of life in their local communities and abroad.

Worldwide, Rotary clubs are non-political, non-religious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds. Club membership represents a cross-section of local business and professional leaders.
