Affordable family homes are on sale in Trafford.
Eight new shared ownership properties in Sale are now on the market as part of the Courts development on the former Sale Magistrates Court site.
Led by Trafford Developments in collaboration with PIC Homes.
The three-bedroom townhouses, located on Brighton Grove, are being offered through not-for-profit housing association Irwell Valley Homes.
Councillor George Devlin, Trafford Council’s executive member for housing and advice, said: "The Council is delighted to be working in partnership with Irwell Valley Homes to make affordable housing available in Sale.
"This ties in with our priority to facilitate a thriving economy and homes for all.
"Shared ownership can be a way for people to get a foot on the housing ladder, particularly in popular places to live such as Sale, where prices are high."
Construction is expected to complete in July, with marketing currently underway through estate agent Ashworth Holme.
Each plot offers around 1,367 square feet of energy-efficient living space and is valued at £550,000.
Buyers can purchase an initial share of as little as 10 per cent, equating to £55,000, and pay rent on the remaining share.
The scheme aims to reduce both upfront deposit requirements and overall monthly payments, while giving buyers the option to increase their share over time up to full ownership.
The Courts is a wider 84-home development situated beside the Bridgewater Canal, comprising 38 apartments, 40 townhouses, and six semi-detached houses.
Of these, 21 will be classed as affordable housing: eight townhouses for shared ownership and 13 apartments for social rent.

Councillor Liz Patel, Trafford Council’s executive member for economy and regeneration, said: "The development as a whole will offer existing and incoming residents the opportunity to join a new and vibrant community in this thriving town.
"Sale has so much to offer including great shopping and businesses, convenient public transport and excellent schools."
All private units available in phase one of the development are now listed on Rightmove and the Ashworth Holme website.
