A man has been charged with attempted murder following the serious incident in Altrincham town centre in the early hours of Sunday (November 30).
Two men were taken to hospital, one with life-threatening injuries and the other with life-changing injuries, after what MP for Altrincham and Sale West, Connor Rand, called a "stabbing".
Now, a 23-year-old man from Partington has been charged with five offences, including attempted murder.

Nathan Peters, of Lock Lane, has been charged with attempted murder, causing grievous bodily harm with intent, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and one count of possession of a bladed article in public, namely a knife.
Court documents confirm there are four different victims after Greater Manchester Police (GMP) previously said two men in their 20s were hospitalised, while a man and a woman in their 50s received "minor injuries".
Regarding the two men who were hospitalised, a 21-year-old man suffered a wound to the chest and was last heard to be in a serious but stable condition in hospital, while the other man in his 20s suffered facial injuries which are thought to be life-changing.

Peters is due to appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court today (Tuesday, December 2).
Following the incident, MP Connor Rand put out a statement detailing his "deep distress and concern about the stabbing in Altrincham town centre" close to Altrincham Hospital.
Mr Rand thanked the emergency services who responded to the incident and urged residents to "to give the police the space and support they need to bring the perpetrator to justice".
GMP have said the incident was "isolated" and have appealed to members of the public for information as they investigate what happened.
