Lord Brady's book on a quarter of a century in the House of Commons is on its way within weeks of his arrival in the House of Lords.
"Kingmaker" is out next week on September 26 with some short sections from the bombshell book already available in The Telegraph.
An alumnus of Altrincham Grammar School for Boys, Lord Brady was in his 20s when he became the MP for Altrincham and Sale West for the first time.
In 2010, he became the chair of the 1922 Committee and he was in the role right up until his resignation as the MP for Altrincham and Sale West before the General Election.
Among the revelations in the bombshell book is that there were no more than 10 votes of no confidence against ex-PM Rishi Sunak, a lot lower than the 52 votes of no confidence to trigger a contest for the Conservative Party leadership, in the build-up to the big day on July 4.
Previously Tim Whiting, Managing Director of the Black & White Publishing Group, said: "Since publishing its first book last year the Ithaka Press list is going from strength to strength. With 2024 its first full year of publishing it is so exciting to release this explosive book in the autumn.
"[Lord Brady] has been at the heart of the Conservative Party for many, many years, under a variety of Prime Ministers, and Kingmaker will be an insight into an extraordinary period. I cannot wait for us to publish."
Lord Brady switched the House of Commons for the House of Lords after his inclusion in the Dissolution Honours on the day of the General Election.
He was sworn into the House of Lords around two weeks ago with the support of Lord Howard of Lympne and of Baroness Williams of Trafford.
"Kingmaker" is out next week on September 26.
