The work on the multi storey car park is progressing well with the external ramp being demolished and removed from site, opening up a whole new area in the town centre. A new internal ramp is now being constructed, foundations have been poured and all of the steelwork has been installed. This new ramp will allow for efficient and convenient access to the revitalised car park. Other improvements include a clean-up of the facade, the installation of new lighting and freshly painted ceilings.

King Street is also coming together, with individual retail units taking shape. New brickwork is currently being installed and roof replacements will be taking place over the next few weeks. The new high street will also benefit from glazed shop fronts, planting and seating. All of these improvements will contribute to creating a vibrant heart of the town centre.

King Street will feature a mix of retail, hospitality and leisure businesses and the Stretford town centre team are now speaking to a number of occupiers about taking space on the new high street. Stay tuned for exciting updates in the coming weeks and months!
