Officers investigating the death of a man in Basingstoke are looking to speak to a woman who was at the scene at the time of the incident.

As previously reported, three men from Basingstoke, aged 48, 43 and 42, were arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was stabbed in Braddock Court in Chapel Gate, Basingstoke, on Monday, April 29.

Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, the man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene.

While investigations are ongoing, police said they want to hear from a woman at the scene who may have vital information on the incident.

She was seen wearing a distinctive yellow tank top.

The woman has been described as being white, aged in her 40s/50s, around 5ft 6ins tall with long straight dark hair.

Officers believe she was in the area at the time and may have key information which could help the investigation. Please get in touch using the details below.

Meanwhile, the arrested men remain in custody.

Police said they are continuing to establish the circumstances leading to the man’s death and will remain in the area while enquiries continue. You can speak to an officer if you have any concerns.
