A cannabis farm has been discovered in Hale and two men are in custody, police have said.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) shared on their Trafford social media pages today (Wednesday, February 21) that officers from the south neighbourhood team discovered the cannabis farm at an address on Hale Road.

The post said officers had "dismantled" the farm and the cannabis plants had been sent for disposal.

As of this afternoon, two men were in custody waiting to be interviewed by police.

The post read: "We remain committed to removing drugs off our streets and will take positive action to any information we receive."

One picture shared by police showed officer inspecting the plants that were discovered at the address, while another image shows a number of plants.
