An artisan bakery which has a shop in Altrincham and another near Kendal has been crowned one of the top 10 places in the UK.
Lovingly Artisan Bakery, which sits in Altrincham Market and in Plumgarths, near Kendal in the Lake District, has been named a top 10 bakery in the north west.
The prestigious list has been compiled by the price comparison and review website, Idelo, which analysed social media footprint, hashtags and post interactions across each artisan bakery's Instagram and TikTok feed to identify the most popular spots across the country.
The analysis saw Lovingly Artisan come in ninth place in the UK with 1,136 Instagram posts and 461,300 TikTok views to its name.
Commenting on the top spot, married couple Aidan Monks and Catherine Connor, who own and run the bakery, said: ’Being named among the best bakeries in the UK is fabulous news for the whole team.
"We use our social media platforms to showcase a little of what we do at our Lake District and Manchester bread stores, featuring in this top 10 list shows that we are on the right track doing what we’re doing, and that people are noticing what a family run and owned artisan bakery based in the north west are up to on two global platforms.’’
