Two Trafford train stations were among a dozen across the region to be recognised by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS).
The displays at Altrincham train station and Hale train station were recognised as outstanding at the Britain in Bloom awards.
The other trains stations are Alderley Edge, Chorley, Croston, Hindley, Knutsford, Leyland, Lytham, Squires Gate, St Annes and Wilmslow.
Craig Harrop, regional director for operator Northern Rail, thanked the teams and the volunteers responsible for their upkeep.
Mr Harrop said: "All credit to the volunteers across our network who go above and beyond to make the displays at our stations 'award-winning'.
"This recognition by the RHS is a testament to the power of collective action in addressing local issues and building stronger, united communities."
