Trafford Council is asking residents for their opinions on their polling stations as a part of a review.
The authority is looking into alternative buildings where current buildings are not fit for purpose.
The consultation aims to increase the accessibility of these polling stations and to decrease the disruption at the time of an election.
Dominique Sykes, monitoring officer for Trafford Council, said: "It is important we use buildings which are accessible so we want suggestions for alternative polling station locations if you feel current polling station locations are not suitable.
"We would like to ask for people to comment on issues such as location, parking and accessibility."
The consultation closes on November 8. To contribute go to trafford.gov.uk/about-your-council/elections/Polling-districts-and-polling-places-review.aspx.
