Paramedics took a woman in her 90s to hospital after a crash in the centre of Hale.

The emergency services attended Ashley Road on the afternoon of September 12.

On arrival at the scene, next to the clock tower and outside The Railway pub, paramedics took a woman in her 90s to hospital. North West Ambulance Service said her injuries were "minor".

There were no other injuries although it is understood there were other cars involved.

Ashley Road was closed for a short time to allow for the emergency services to work.

The Messenger asked GMP and GMFRS for a comment.
