A man has been jailed and banned from driving for a series of offences including taking a car without consent and driving without insurance.
Thomas Wilkie, of Riverstone Drive, near Timperley, appeared at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court this week after being charged with multiple offences.
According to Greater Manchester Police, Wilkie, 35, was convicted of multiple drive off offences, or driving off without paying for fuel, as well as taking a car without the owner's consent and driving without insurance.
His offences took place across Sale, Timperley, Stretford and Wythenshawe between October last year and January this year.

Wilkie was sentenced to four months behind bars for his actions and has been banned from holding a driving licence for 12 months.
He was also ordered to pay a £154 fine.
