Five people have been taken to hospital after a crash in Sale that saw one person cut free from the wreckage by firefighters.
At around 9.30pm on Saturday, firefighters were called out to a crash on Ashton Lane, Sale.
Two fire engines from Sale and Altrincham fire stations attended the scene where two cars had crashed.
Firefighters cut one person free from a car and five people were taken to hospital in total.
A Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "At around 9.30pm on Saturday, firefighters were called out to a road traffic collision on Ashton Lane, Sale.
“Two fire engines from Sale and Altrincham fire stations attended the scene where two cars had collided.
"One person was extricated from a vehicle by firefighters and five casualties involved have all been taken to hospital."
Greater Manchester Police have been contacted for more information.
