Something about Europe just makes you want to photograph it. Perhaps it is the centuries-old architecture or the charming villages with cobblestone streets. Perhaps it's the breathtaking scenery, with its rolling hills and snow-capped mountains. Whatever the case may be, European cities are a photographer's dream.

There are so many incredible places to photograph in Europe that it took a lot of work to narrow it down. But we did it, and here they are: Europe's Most Photogenic Locations.

Vilnius, Lithuania

The capital city of Lithuania has a plethora of photogenic buildings. Even those who aren't interested in architecture will be inspired by these.

You could spend hours admiring the city's castles and towers and learning about its Jewish and Soviet histories. We also recommend that you try kibinai, which are traditional Lithuanian pastries.

Lithuania is regarded as one of Europe's most affordable countries.

Venice, Italy

Venice is a must-see if you enjoy canals, seafood, and historic architecture.

The best part is that you don't even have to stay in this popular city for more than one day.

You'll have enough time to enjoy the Grand Canal and take pictures of the Rialto Bridge and the Bridge of Sighs. And at least five more tourist attractions, all while listening to the soothing sounds of water

Prague, Czech Republic

Prague is regarded as one of the most beautiful cities on the planet. Its historic buildings and Gothic churches will make you want to take pictures. And I encourage you to simply be in the moment and take in the beauty of Prague.

Nature photographers will enjoy photographing the Vltava River, the country's longest.

The Prague astronomical clock will astound architecturally savvy visitors. It is the world's oldest working clock.

Monte-Carlo, Monaco

Apart from Casinos, Monaco is also the sports betting capital of Europe, with major international events such as The Monaco Grand Prix (The most prestigious F1 race on the circuit), World Championship Boxing matches, European PGA tours, as well as the European Poker Tour Grand final taking place every year. Gambling overall is the primary contributor to the region’s economy. If you are interested in sports and casino photography this city is a must-go destination. In this city you can combine work with pleasure, and play some games at the casino between photo-shooting sessions, but don’t forget to plan your roulette wheel strategy.

London, United Kingdom

In 2013, more than 16 million people visited London, making it the most visited city in the world. The British capital is also extremely popular among photographers. Many of the city's most photographed locations are artistic in nature, such as the Tate Modern (particularly its Damien Hirst pieces), Abbey Road (where the Beatles famously walked on their album cover of the same name), and the Royal Albert Hall.

Helsinki, Finland

Finland's southern capital, as well as one of the best places to live in the world. The city will make you happy and inspire you to take as many photos as possible.

Visit the food market, one of the 300 islands that surround Helsinki, and get to know the friendly locals.

Florence, Italy

There is no limit to what you can do in Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance period. This city welcomes visitors of all ages, with over 20 historic walking areas, 150 places to eat, 100 museums, and 15 full-day tours.

You'll find something worth photographing no matter where you go.

Just make sure you bring plenty of memory cards!

Paris, France

Anyone who enjoys travelling should pay a visit to Paris, one of the most popular cities in the world.

Despite its association with the Eiffel Tower, Paris has far more to offer than a few famous landmarks.

If you like fashion, delicious food, beautiful architecture, and walking, you'll be in heaven in the city of love.

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Amsterdam is filled with incredible art and historical moments that will inspire you.

In this bustling city, you can see Anne Frank's house, admire the world's largest Van Gogh collection at the Van Gogh Museum, and get inspired at the NEMO Science Museum.

You could also fall in love with the beautiful houses that dot Amsterdam.

Copenhagen, Denmark

Copenhagen is as unique as its name suggests. Even a one-day trip will captivate you with historic sculptures, colourful structures like the ones shown above, and castles that look like movie sets.

If you enjoy taking cinematic photographs, this city will not disappoint.

Colmar, France

Paris is the primary destination for all visitors to France. But the country's other cities are equally beautiful.

Colmar is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Paris. This modest town has tranquil canals, picture-perfect castles, and interesting museums.
