- Chester Road in Stretford is currently shut between junction seven for the M60 and Barton Road.
- A lane of the nearby M60 anti-clockwise exit slip road has also been closed due to the police incident preventing traffic turning left towards Manchester City Centre. Traffic can however turn right towards Altrincham.
- Drivers are being urged to avoid the area and take a different route.
