A coffee chain confirmed one of its biggest branches to date is set to open in Trafford Park next week.

Tim Hortons revealed the doors to its outlet on Barton Dock Road are opening on Monday morning.

To celebrate the occasion, the coffee chain is awarding free drinks for a year to the first customer at the drive-thru and inside, and offering a free breakfast to the first 100 customers.

Set over two floors with seats for around 200 people inside and 40 people outside, it is one of Tim Hortons' biggest branches since the brand arrived in the UK around five years ago.

Kevin Hydes, chief commercial officer, said: "As our presence in Greater Manchester grows, we continue to be surprised and delighted at the demand that exists for Tim Hortons in the area.

"Our launch at Trafford Park has given us the opportunity to immerse ourselves further within the Greater Manchester community and we're looking forward to engaging with all those in the area once we officially open our doors.

"We pride ourselves on providing an inclusive, family-friendly environment, offering quality value food and drinks, and we’d love to see as many people as possible at our grand opening on Monday.

"Whether you bring the family for an end of summer treat or come with friends for a post-match meal, we’d love for you to join us over the launch period to celebrate in true Tim Hortons style. There is a serious number of prizes and giveaways up for grabs and we wouldn’t want you to miss out."

James Whittaker, executive director of development at landowner Peel L&P, added: "We are very pleased to be working in partnership with Tim Hortons to bring their popular offering to TraffordCity.

"TraffordCity is the UK’s foremost retail, leisure and commercial destination and with so much to do and experience, we know that Tim Hortons will be warmly welcomed and further enhance our food and beverage offerings as well as creating even more jobs in the area for the local community."

After Monday morning, Tim Hortons is set to open open every day from 6am until midnight.
